Paradise is just a 3 hour drive from home
After a long sketchy drive in the pouring rain, we were lucky enough to wake up in tofino in the cutest hotel ever.
We booked to stay with The Shoreline for 2 nights and i cannot reccomend this place enough! We are staying in the pet friendly room so that we could bring nala – and they supply you with dog bowls, a dog bed, poop bags and treats. It is so amazingly cozy and situated right on the water. Also, conviniently located stumbling distance from not only the tofino brewery, but shelter – where you will find the most delicious calamari in the world.
The Shoreline was filled with the most thoughftul touches
The thing that i loved the most about this hotel – was the fact that everything inside was locally made. From the towels and blankets – to the locally roasted coffee and house made essential oil blends.
This was the absolute perfect place to hunker down for a weekend and watch the storms pass by.
All this being said , we came for tofino looking for some adventure, and we definitely got it!
We started our first morning by doing the cox bay lookout hike which was amazing. Once we got to the top we noticed some big dark clouds rolling in, and sure enough we got stuck in a hail storm a few minutes later. Thankfully though, that didnt last for too long and we were greated by the suns beautiful rays moments later.
Now, Time to get off my computer and enjoy the rest of our time here.
I’ll leave you with the song I’ve had on repeat this whole weekend.
Tell me, would you want to #wakeuphere?
